On the afternoon of the second day, a session was dedicated specifically to the transport of chemical products. It addressed key topics for all logistics operators in the chemical sector:

• Environmental Sustainability: Environmental impact is becoming increasingly central. Strategies were explored to reduce CO₂ emissions, optimize logistics routes, and use low-energy-impact vehicles in line with European decarbonization policies.
• SQAS System: The Safety and Quality Assessment System is a European tool that assesses the quality and safety of companies providing transport and logistics services for the chemical industry. Adopting SQAS is a crucial step for many companies to demonstrate reliability and compliance with the most stringent requirements.
